There was no planned post for today, but I did want to share my wishes for a very Merry Christmas to you all!
I stepped out into the backyard this morning seeking for inspiration. I wanted to find something original to decorate our Christmas table and inspiration had been there all along: asparagus ferns (aka foxtail ferns) look just like cypress trees or slim Christmas trees, don’t you think?
I used a piece of damp kitchen paper to mount them on candle holders and the moisture will also keep them fresh for a few days – I hope.
For now, they make the most beautiful, elegant Christmas decoration – slim table top Christmas trees!
Bonus: some of them have green and red berries that look like Christmas ornaments!
The pictures I am sharing have not been edited.

Merry Christmas!
