Maybe once a year, usually around Mother’s Day or when the lottery hits a jackpot record, I dream of doing something huge for my mother. Does it happen to you too?

But, this year, for Mother’s Day, I’m dreaming of something simple. What I really want to do is grab a few ingredients from the farmers’ market, arrange them beautifully in a basket, and head over to my mom’s to spend the day there with no plans, no rush – just a little cooking, maybe a movie or two, and lots of chatting and laughing. I know she would love that, too!
So take this day, gather a few ingredients in a basket, and go spend it with your Mom!
